It looks to me like he’s tried to use West Ham to put pressure on Liverpool to open talks with him and it’s completely backfired and blown up in his face.
Liverpool have ignored him.
West Ham won’t appreciate being used as bait.
He looks like a rat to Sporting.
Were he genuinely interested in going to West Ham, I doubt he’d have apologized or been laughing when he flew back and was bombarded with questions.
