Calgary calling Conor. 50000 is NOT big enough…go 60000…we will fill it plus corporate, reduce ticket prices a little too and make it the new Wembley of the North. The FA would use it for England, rugby, concerts…the demand is there, so go all in Leeds. I think Anthony is good and has been way under used. Now DJ is out…will he get minutes? Surprise package v QPR perhaps? That 60k should have the facility to further expand too, another 10,000….the demand is there so meet it Leeds and partner with Leeds City…get that tram built and regenerate the area…the future is bright, the future is white. MOT.
Conor as brilliant as you are, I do wish you would slow down your speech pattern and breathe pal lol
50,000 until were back been an established premier League side again then expand by another 10,000 or so. Previously as when we were in the first established premier League clubs at over 40,000 we were in the top 6 or so in the size of the seating capacity obviously after relegation then years later having seats removed were not , I actually preferred how the ground was before the seat removal for boxes etc , so for me as soon as we're back start the stadium.
55k at least
50k is a good number
We will be selling our best players next season but are going to be playing in a 60;000 seater stadium in the championship 😅
Who writes this stuff 😅
Don’t have to fill it week in week out – just need to sell the season tickets to those on the waiting list.
Predict we get promoted and Daniel Farke gets sacked before Christmas. You can’t go without subbing in the Prem you’re going to look like real cunt trying to murder the same players week in week out without resting them like he has done this season
As someone who regularly attended home games with crowds of 9k to 14k i believe 50k is plenty
55-60k possible 65k should be the capacity of Elland Road. They should start it this summer. It’s pointless leaving it for further down the line.
Another 20k would be sensible!
I'd be disappointed if we only expanded to 50,000. Exactly with the Club itself saying 20,000 on the waiting list for season tickets. We have to be looking at upwards of 55,000 in my opinion.
63k to top spurs would be nice
Stadiums are long lead time projects. The sooner we get started the better.
Weeeeellllll the Hull win tonight has thrown the "Cat amongst the pigeons"….that means they are so close to the play-offs that the Hull vs Ipswich game becomes VERY important to them. That will be a fascinating game.
Its fantasy while this club is an established premier league club especially ss half this team isn't even good enough to stabilise in the premier league
i think we should have a stadium with a capacity of 55k.
60K
Needs to be 55K
Fruit shoot money 🤣🤣
50k tp 60k
Summerville is that good, he would be fine playing on the right when its time to bring on the subs
60'000. Leeds haven't even tapped into the Eastern market and I see loads of Chinese students wearing Leeds shirts. Using Sunderland as a comparison is redundant. Make it a 60'000 and charge less for tickets. It's a clear win win strategy that also creates more unity and good vibes.
65K
No value vlog this one. Waffle FC.
50k would be the next expansion for me. With further improvements in years to come. Up to 60k+ in the longer run. Yes we need to be in the Prem to do it. It’s fine as we are, challenging for promotion in Championship, to go up to 50k, but if we became a middling Champ side we’d be on smaller crowds. The 49ers should see us right once we’re up, their experience should see us in a good place financially and team-wise.
Yes the stadium needs expanding ' but we need a capacity no more than 50k I'd say more like stadium of light at Sunderland 47k we really don't do really big crowds ' look at our history crowd wise ' anything more than that would end up been a white elephant.
Focus must be on Premier League, then a stadium expansion after that.
More capacity if standing allowed. Maybe 55k
While they clean up the stadium can they clean up the roads and city. Council don't.
Stadium needs full rebuild to keep us moving forward.
50k is perfect ,should keep the tourist fans out
Leeds United will play😂 home games at Hillsborough Stadium
55,000 with a view to being able to expand further
60,000 seater would be great, there is a huge waiting list.
Isn't money spent on stadia/training grounds etc. Seperate to hitting PSR with signings of players and players wages. I'm pretty sure that's how Everton are still going ahead with their stadium
A lot of peripheral fans are “fair weather supporters.” If we’re not in the Premiership and playing attractive football then only the hardcore fans can go watch dire football. There’s so much riding on us going up. Come on Leeds, 2 more wins!!! Let’s go.
We have 22k ST waiting list don't we? So minimum 55,000 in the prem IMO.
It’s too completely different revenue streams… ones for the club and ones for a stadium. Yes, of course they could be interrelated, but it’s not like it’s one bucket of money. Billionaires have a way of moving money around taking out loans using other peoples money. It will be fine.
Leeds City Council need to come board,a tramline is a must.Road upgrades around ER,the council stated 20 years ago a 60,000 stadium ia a no go.Iwould a bigger ground more the better, but councils being councils will not allow us to do what we want
50 Thousand capacity is spot on at the moment.
It's all well and good expanding it but then they just net off the first couple of rows and any rows near the away fans. It's a joke.
Wembley of the north 90k 👍
