Ochoa’s prime in my opinion was in 2007 for what he accomplished, 2nd place in copansudamericana, 3rd place in copa america, nominated for balon d or, best keeper of the americas, Manchester United was interested in this keeper as a replace,ent for edwin van der sar but the move never happened..
Everyone recognized this talent Ochoa was. Compared to the likes of iker, cech, buffon, valdez I never understood why he at least made it to a club like sevilla or dortmund.. he was still fire for several years after but honestly his moment has passed since this year. He’s weaknesses are so noticeable..
In my opinion Ochoa had the potential to be mexicos greatest player but once he retires he for sure will be in the top 10 or even 5 list
