I watched their games in qualifying but the world cup games are totally something else with the best of players and coaches in the world. To be honest, in my native Canada, football culture is not well developed. It is also not taken seriously. We are more passionate about winter sports. So much so that when I party with my British friends, I feel a little embarrassed when they talk about football or leagues. But this year we entered the World Cup. I think it's a good start, starting with this match against Japan.🦾🦾🦾🇨🇦

Unusual mistake by Itakura for the first Canadian goal, normally he reads the game (and ball) so well so this was surprsing! As long as he makes the mistakes only in the friendlies, its all good! Ganbatte, vamos Nippon!!
Cavalini should start training penalty shooting cause the pressure on the WC is going to be big. Belgium and Croatia have more experienced players and that could make a difference compared to the physical and young team of Canada. Hope they analyze properly these two teams.
