The number of players who have represented Northern Ireland at various levels but decided to switch to Republic of lreland. So let's put this into perspective.

Fact is England are a better sell.
They are English born, no issue with Grealish, he played under age but opted against the senior level for ireland. Rice is different, he is a judas, I completely understand you wanting to play for the country of your birth, but it didn't need 3 games with Ireland to figure that out. He used Ireland. Not good. He will always be a judas and I hope Man Utd never sign him, no loyalty, he will do the same thing to West Ham, drop them for a bigger side.
Both aren't good enough to be England starters.

He’s dodging the question. It’s nothing to do with coercing. They were available for Ireland in competitive matches and he didn’t give them minutes to secure their future. Nobody forced them to do anything. The dog on the street was saying to get them competitive minutes. Yes Martin, you did cost ireland two great talents.

Declan Rice has represented the Republic of Ireland for at least 3 times that I can think of , now for me he should not be representing England ! I have always thought players that represent their country should be born in that country never mind somebody who has a great great great uncle who was born in Timbuktu and they want you to come and represent them , this kind of nonsense should not be allowed to happen unfortunately it does and the national team manager should be born in their country of birth end of , a few years ago Scotland had a German manager in Berti Vogts , bonkers beyond belief !
O Neill was being paid millions to look after the Interests of the Irish team, not the England team, not Mr Rice or Mr Grealish or their families, his responsibility for which he took millions was to further the chances of the Rep of Ireland to qualify for tournaments.
