Swansea City Association Football Club is a Welsh professional football club based in the city of Swansea, South Wales.

Formed in 1912, the club joined the Football League in 1921, and currently plays at the Swansea.com Stadium.

The Swans won the League Cup in 2013, and have secured 11 promotions across the course of their history.

Additionally, the club are two-time EFL Trophy winners, two-time FAW Premier Cup winners, and 10-time Welsh Cup champions, qualifying for European competition on eight occasions.

  1. Just the game you want when relegation is still a threat. A wet Wednesday against a team that have had to drive 4 hours from the Midlands and are under relegation pressure too, you would have to fancy the home teams chances. The positives, the keeper keeps a clean sheet with a wet ball, wind and a skidding pitch 10/10; Matt Grimes shows how to take a penalty in weather conditions where a slip will put the ball over the bar, short run up, left foot, target already picked not waiting for the keeper to move, as good a penalty as you will see under pressure 10/10; Jamal Lowe on as a sub collects the ball on halfway and works magic to get the ball into the final third quickly then instead of running to the corner plays a peach of a pass for the third goal.
    Pressure was on, the odds were on Swansea and they didn't let us down.

  2. It's been a tough season. We pretty much secured in the Championship. two years ago I couldn't even imagine we'd be fighting to avoid relegation in Division 2.
