Fabinho may need competition for his spot yes we've got Hendo, but isn't proper holding 6 then we've got young Stefan Bajcetic who probably not ready yet.
I’m sorry but I’d rather play Fabinho in our midfield than Elliot, Milner orJones. Forget about Thiago/Keita/Ox/ Arthur who have proven they’re unreliable. Fabinho has proven to us consistently that he can deliver. It wasn’t that long ago some fans were saying the same thing about Mane. If we get Amrabat that would instantly elevate our midfield. The fact that Klopp has been monitoring him even before the World Cup is impressive. YNWA

El haj deuf during the world cup ran himself into the ground, players often find something extra for their country. Fabinho still has qualities and a nice right foot, when gini and Henderson leg's aren't in the team plus the front three isn't as lively as mane,salah and firminio of two year's ago , the team struggles but want to be more of a passing midfield. Legs needs to fill one or two of them positions imo

I think this would be a smart move. I don't believe Fabinho is done or it's time for him to move on. I feel it will be great to give Fabinho some rest and some competition to keep him on his toes.
For me, Fabinho has stagnated at Liverpool because of burnout and lack of competition for his position. Plus it's an extra body in midfield to help see the season out.

We need to move Fabinho on. you can't have players hanging around after they asre past teir best. if you want to win, you need to be ruthless and merciless in your recruitment and axing of players. Henderson, in my opinion has already stayed too long, but he is the captain, so I understand, but he cannot be given a new deal. But I can also see the "has to be given time angle". the question is, how much time? I say, if Fabinho isn't back to his best within 6 months, get rid of him and sell im next January (not this January obviously).
My theory is that doubters put doubt into Fabinho's head. He was playing his best football when peple on twitter and other social media was worshipping him even his wife got a lot of love. Fabinho will still be there. We need to have enough depth in that midfield area with our pressing game, so signing a few more midfielders won’t mean him leaving will actually take some burden off his shoulders.
Form is one thing but Fab is not very mobile and that doesn't work in the Klopp mid-field system. Has been great for us but we need legs in there.

I think if we sign amrabat he will get number 16 shirt as its free. I think fabinho will become another centre back option/CDM. So he probably short term become back up Amrabat and Hendo.
