Jordan Henderson has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Ajax in the Netherlands and a journalist was quick to ask the former Liverpool man why choose Ajax when they aren’t doing well? Suggesting that it had to do with taxes. 😳

  1. He is still trying to convince himself that he is making footballing decisions. The cash grab didn't work out, fine we get it. He comes back to competitive football but he has chosen Ajax in order to avoid taxes. He's not fooling anyone.

  2. Great to see him at Ajax, after thriving here maybe he can move to Man United (they also wear red and white) and recently hsve been signing players (and staff) from the Amsterdam based club.

  3. So what if he did! Wouldn’t you do that too? Or would you rather pay all that tax so the government can spend it on themselves or give it to a load of immigrants who are coming here to milk the welfare system…. I know what I’d do

  4. I think he and his family hated living in Saudi. And he just decided he doesn't want to spend 3yrs there. He's probably filthy rich already and doesn't need the money.

  5. It’s to avoid tax. I don’t have any issue with it, nor with him going to Saudi to get it…just say it. We all go to work for money so it doesn’t really matter how he manages his tax affairs or what he does.
