Unfortunately, what defines the greatness of a player here in Latin America are titles with the national team, as a brazilian, I think it's a shame that people here don't recognize his quality. I'm an unconditional fan of this man and for me he's one of the best defenders in the history of Brazil (in addition to being one of the only ones who has international recognition), but brazilians only look at the results of the national team.
