  1. I respect Kalv for everything he did for us in Leeds, and I will always remember his time here fondly but let's be honest, he left us. And I'm not saying that like some angry ex but the reality is, he left and we bought others to replace him. It took as a while but we got there with Ampadu. There's no reason for us to really get him now, he's not what he used to be, he ruined his development so he can sit on the bench and milk money from Man City, and he's too expensive for us. It just wouldn't make sense. Unless he's willing to take a 80% wage cut to play for us, then I wouldn't mind lol

All the best to him though ALAW💙🤍💛

  2. Even at Leeds he was pretty cr@p. I'm a Juve fan and one of the rare positives from this season is that Juve avoided signing this dud. I'd rather see Miretti and McKennie continue to misplace their passes than Phillips' half arsed uselessness.

  3. Very few players have left Leeds United and gone onto bigger things. I’ve been a Leeds supporter since the days of Bobby Collins and Albert Johanneson. The only players I can honestly mention that achieved ‘big’ when they left were: John Charles, Denis Irwin, John Lukic, Eric Cantona, Rio Ferdinand, James Milner. There were a few other big names around the Peter Risdale debacle era that got big transfers and won a cup or two but their career’s fizzled out within many months.

Where is Raphina now? Leeds and Bielsa made him into a world class player. He was advised by many Brazilian professionals to stay at Leeds where is was worshipped and seen as a leader, and help get them back to the top of European football. He and his agent ignored that advice. They went for big money instead. Now he’s practically ignored in Spain and Brasil. What a come down. This should be a lesson to all of those current young players at Leeds who are being chased by other big clubs. History is not on your side if you leave. Leeds is still one of the biggest and top football clubs in the world. Stay and get Leeds back to the top……

  4. Why would we re-sign him? Ampadu is better at what he used to do for us, isn’t injury prone and let’s be honest KP only ever performed under Bielsa and no other manager. He had his moment with us and I’ll be grateful for his past contribution, but no thanks.

  5. He won’t come back to Leeds. Yesterdays news . Bielsa made him, but Bielsa has gone now. KP has just reverted to his pre Bielsa self, which is average championship midfielder at best.

  6. In all fairness, the penalty decision was a bit of an odd one, this kind of thing seems to happen to players who have lost their premier league sharpness, I hope he gets back to some kind of form, also, as understandably frustrated as the fans can be, their abuse can only make things worse.

  7. Phillips had 1 decent season in the championship he not premier league level he hasn't proved that yet sitting on the bench is no good for any player we got better now at elland road leeds would be mad to have him back

  8. I love Andy Townsend. This is always the best show to listen to as it’s Football driven. It’s not there to generate media clips. Both Andy and Ally always talk fairly about all clubs and it’s a refreshing change from the usual idiots like Martin Keown and Ray parlour

  9. Pretty much agree about KP but he is playing in a team that are good going forward but totally implode at the back , he’s better than he is showing ,one thing I will say about the penalty though at least he tried to get a tackle or a block in ,there were a couple of players that just gave up ,had he stopped a goal bound effort he would be a hero.

  10. No thank you its time we moved on he had every opportunity to stay and he chose money and fame Ampadu is twice the player also so he would most likely sit on the bench

  11. Leeds fan here, this is literally only media and pundits chatting about this, Leeds don't want or need him back and he likely doesn't even want to come back, also we don't care if it's best for him, it isn't the best for us, we aren't a charity.

  12. Leeds won't be buying him back, even if the fee is as reported £30m. He had his chance in the Premiership with Leeds and decided to chase the money and trophies. Apparently, Pep realised he had made a mistake within 2 weeks of buying him.

  13. I saw most of the match, It was never a penalty in a million years, Gordon is a cheat, goes to ground constantly and operates on the edge of the rules of football. As for KP he was a good player for us, but in fairness he only played 38 games in total in the premier for Leeds and was injured quite a lot. Bielsa made him a better player, but plastic Guardiola cynically ensured that he was never going to play for city, which I think speaks volumes about how horrible that man really is. There's a good player in there somewhere, he just needs to find his feet, be patient, train hard and then I think he will return as an asset for anyone who plays him. For Leeds though I' am afraid I don't think a return is viable or an option given the current setup, I don't see where he would fit into the current Leeds side, we have more pressing priorities and promotion at this stage is certainly not a given. I wish him well and the best of luck in his career, he's not the first Man city purchase to be spat out and he won't be the last.

  14. Please no return to Leeds. Overpriced n overpaid. We need investment for the future. He'd be better of restarting his career in a mid table Bundesliga or Red Bull team 😮

  15. This is the part of the movie where the old player comes back to his roots with poor reception and struggles for minutes on a team he once helped make champions, then goes through an incredible transformation and becomes better than he’s ever been.

  16. Excellent idea! Let’s get t’lad back home where he can get some good Fish and two penneth o scraps… and mushy peas. Well have him right as rain in no time.

  17. Won't happen so you may as well tell Man City and the Hammers to stop putting out unfounded speculation and fake news for reporters to feast on.
