he played well when lucas and gerrard were beside him but when he replaced lucas because of the injury, his form went way downhill. hes still alright and young. definitely will only get better
He didn't have a bad first season, he's simply a bad player. He's someone you expect to see in the championship let alone the premier league. Also, Welsh Xavi? What the fuck? He'll never be as good as Xavi and I'm not judging that on a bad first season, he's simply a poor player,
Henderson has improved slightly, he certainly deserves a place ahead of Allen. Downing has been awful since he moved to Liverpool, He's only scored about 3 league goals since he's joined.
I hope Allen remains off the pitch come the start of the new season. He had a good start to the season but that's down to adrenaline and excitement, he went downhill and never looked like improving. He's a championship player and we've looked really comfortable with Gerrard, Lucas and Henderson in midfield.
If you know him then tell him to step up his game, what? Oh you only 'know him' through watching clips of him? That doesn't count sorry. Put it this way, we had a brilliant end to the season when Allen wasn't playing, we played better than when Allen was on the pitch, so it makes sense to keep playing the same team. Wouldn't you agree?
People are quick to assume the title of true fan but are quick to down players from their own squad. Give the lad a chance. One season with very few games played is not enough.

You don't see Henderson or Lucas trying to hit Hollywood passes so why do we need Allen over them? Allen's weak and can't go forward.
