Deco is still a wild card. So far he has shown, at least publicly, he works counter productively to Xavi at times. And Mendes is another issue- will we be signing all of his clients just because he has rhe ear of Deco and Laporta because we are broke? I dont like this Deco/Mendes relationship at all.
As for Silva, up front i cant see signing him for $50mm without some significant player sales. Selling our young academy players hurts us long term. But without experienced, effective veterans, will the club play young players to death like they have with Pedri? The young La Masia players from Xavi/Iniesta/Messi days had very talented senior players that allowed them time to grow into playing on the first team. We dont have that luxury today. Lets face it, there are ni easy solutions or magic potions for a club that was run horribly for a good amount of years-AND- lost arguably the GOAT. Those days are gone for the moment, id rarher the club had come out and said we are going to have a difficult time and need to rebuild so all you fans and culers stay with us and dont despair. We need time.

As a Barca fan, €50M for Bernardo Silva to Barcelona? For me it’s a NO! I’m not saying He is not a good player, he is world class we all know that but Barca are going through really difficult time especially financially & Laliga are not gonna make it easy either so I don’t see it happening. We should be focusing more on our priorities which is CDM pivot in midfield that’s the main priority for Barca and that’s how it should be, cannot afford to throw the money all on useless signings that Bartomeu used to do when he was a Barca president 😂
