Thousands of people thronged the city, waving Georgian flags and chanting to celebrate their victory over Greece. Georgia will make their major tournament debut at Euro 2024 after beating Greece 4-2 in a penalty shootout. It had been a tense and testy 0-0 draw in a raucous atmosphere in Tbilisi. The Georgian team joined the celebrations in the center of Tbilisi, where they took the stage and thanked the fans for their support.
