IF Reyna is sooooo dam good, then why isn't he getting playing time at Dortmund and now Forest? Reyna is not the answer this guy and all the other that have a thing for him think he is. Reyna came on to start the second half and doesn't really do anything until extra time. Then really only makes a couple of good passes to a breaking Haji.

Watching Brighton (currently 8th in EPL) and what a manager like Roberto de Zerby can do with young talent – he has a mix of up and coming players (yes, a different level of players) playing above their weight class. It makes me think what a good (Euro) manager could do with our players. Sure, few of our players could play for a mid-level euro team, but dang, can't we get them some coaching to get there. Maybe De Zerby has an assistant manager he could spare…
And to think that some so-called "experts" like Alexi Lalas, and many US fans, are serious about this Belhalter lead mess reaching the semis of the Copa America! Do they realize they have to face superior NTs such as Uruguay, Brazil or Colombia to get there???
"Performance" is completely overrated. The result is all that matters. Is everyone going to be upset if the USMNT wins the Copa America final even if they get completely outplayed? Of course not.
This game was not that different from our performance against Trinidad at home. Low block, lackluster, can't do anything until near the end of the game. That is just how all the games look under GGG for the US. We looked good under BJ, and Hudson. Not so much under GGG.

Berhalter may be a good coach at a certain level??????? That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard anyone say. What level is that??? Maybe 10 year olds. Event then I would be feeling bad for those 10 year olds.
Stop beating around the bush! Say what's obvious to a blind man. Berhalter sucks! He is utter unable to adjust tactically from game to game or within a game. He has never been able to get the USMNT to perform above the sum of their parts. More often than not, they perform way below that. He's a junior college level coach that's been put in charge of the USMNT for 6 years because of nepotism.
It's funny to see today's issues of USMNT are the same Mexico had historically in the past, playing against Concacaf teams.
Disappointing? It was a good win for 1987.
Usa is a great team if they produce more chemistry and unlock their potential I mean it when i say usa can make it to the final of copa America and with enough heart and a little luck they can do really good in the world cup. This is coming from someone that was laughed at back in 05 when i was making claims that Messi would be above and beyond anyone in the world in just a few short years.
I love how our country went from "we played really well and only lost 2-0 in that friendly" to "we were flat in a semifinal that we won." I hate our sports media FR
