Piss poor performance, not good enough
Deki just plays all the time even though 90% of the time he's just not good. He just doesn't offer anything, incredibly slow, and nowadays he also completely lacks confidence, like he's just not even trying to do anything anymore. Not a cut-in, not a cross, not his curved-shoot thing which he did often in the past, nothing. Misses simple passes, never gets past his man, but he still gets away with it and still starts every game.
And according to WhoScored Werner was exactly as good (or bad) as Deki lmao.. Ridiculous. This just proves how these statistics are complete nonsense.
From now-on our attacking trio has to be Werner-Son-Brennan or possibly even Son-Richarlison-Brennan depends on the opponent.
what do the haters in our fanbase have to say about brenan now? next season johnson should be starting almost every game. told people to trust the boy, glad he’s proving the clowns wrong.
1st half today felt like a horrible continuation of that last fullham match, with a basically same formation.
These people would play kulu in goal just to keep him on the pitch. How are these people so blinded. Lo celso too one footed for this system?? What the fudge the guy is potentially world class, have you seen him play a ball with the outside of his boot. Assisted Brennan who should have scored, a brilliant challenge late on and all round so good. Injury prone because always putting in challenges. What a loss he will be when he goes, sad he never good a consistent run of games to show his brilliance, but no doubt a supreme talent.
The problem is not what all the experts are saying, the problem is the poor passing. Yes, there were somewhat lethargic but if you take the first goal that came about because Kulu made a dreadful pass, Son then lost the ball in contact, defenders did not get back and the rest you know. Repeatedly Spurs players just gave the ball away and were the source of what we refer to as Luton playing well. No Spurs were wasteful and negligent in fact. They need to get on the training pitch and learn how to pass the ball accurately. That is why City and Liverpool are so good.
And how many fans were saying get rid of Johnson a short while ago. Fans are so damn fickle.

I still dont understand what people.mean about poor? Is it the system individual quality of players? I think ball control is the main issue particular from Sony, Sarr, and.Kulu. the inablity to control the ball at critical areas is a problem. I think Bissau has been instructed to holdback since the red cards.
Dragusin ( 21 years old ) is a right foot player. He did a good job replacing VDV ( left foot player – more comfortable on that side ). Also Dragusin played only twice for us. VDV and Romero made horrible mistakes in the past after playing tens of games for us – so patience 🙂
We should applaud the chances that werner makes, and how he takes on people than constant complaining about the missis, just like we do with sony bad touches, but we applaud the scoring

Werner was having another good game and was super unlucky for not scoring the first goal. Werner was definitely an europa league level winger and as a UCL chasing club, that’s exactly the kind of player we want sitting on our bench.
For 75mins Timo was the most dangerous player on the pitch. He forced the OG being right behind and was lurking on the back post for every misplaced cross.

Bentancur was the player who immediately changed the midfield and Johnson benefited
kulu has been off it for a few games.Johnson makes a difference cos he is right footer and can cross the ball.why are we playing kulu on right? he is a left footer and obviously wants to go on his left foot.
Defence we’re not working on set pieces coach under Conte Givanni we’re plenty of Goals under Ryan Mason set pieces coach the set pieces speak for ten selves nada

Kulu needs to play central. He’s too one footed and way too slow. Great strength but holy shit that was a bad performance. To get outplayed by the man everyone else wants gone is embarrassing. Radu needs reps. Glad he got this whole match.

However, two remarks:
First Romero and Vicario have to stop the lazy starts and speed up the passes forward.
Second two or more times there was a Brentford player obstructing Porro when the ball was being passed between the Brentford forwards. The goal came from the first try. I think this was a thought out tactical move. Don't know if anyone agrees with.
I guarantee Ange does not take any team lightly. If players did, then that's ridiculous!
The players have learnt nothing from the Fulham game. If Spurs were playing a better team, Spurs would have been destroyed.
A win is a win and that is all we needed. Our stats were amazing, especially as we're still a team in transition. The way we play is to tire the opposition out, so we can now win games well into injury time. There was never any doubt that we'd win that game. Just look at the final stats.
When the system relies on getting to the byline and crossing why do we keep playing inverted wingers who need to cut back inside? Doesn’t work and kills 90% of the attacks. No point transitioning quickly just to stop in the final third. We have bags of pace and we don’t use it.
I will never understand English peoples minds at times. I'm American, in American sports with the teams i support, you always say a win is a win and you move on. So when it comes to Tottenham games I always think the same thing, you win, good go forward. Doesn't matter if it its Luton or Liverpool. But every time I watch post match stuff after we win, if its not 3-0 against lower teams its like the world is falling. Was it the best no, but a win is a win.
Spurs game plan will get them nowhere, Spurs will never beat Chelsea ,Arsenal, Man City, ore even Westham, chaing the game plane against those bottom and mid tables team , start 3-4- 3
