He started to pet the cat under the chin if you notice making him/her feel safe then moved his hand to the back of her neck and the other on her back (mama cats don't pick up kittens by fur on the back because it's too thin) and threw the cat down. It wasn't a simple toss because you could hear the thump when poor kitty went down.
Gonna upset some people with this statement but people that trick animals by being sweet then are rough I think of relationships they have with their partners. The guy that's nice outside, everyone tells you how lucky you are but you are terrified to make a wrong move and all of a sudden your well behaved 5 yr old cat starts peeing in the closet because he's terrified of the guy petting him one moment and kicking him the next for knocking stuff off the table..all that cute normal cat stuff we love them for.

You guys have no idea about cats 🙂 That kind of grabbing by the neck and back doesn't hurt them. That's how their mother moves them, that's how they are calmed down and they don't do anything stupid. The guy just grabbed the cat that way so the cat wouldn't wiggle away as he chased it off the table. He threw it off without using force, he didn't push it after all. And cats always fall on their feet.
