This is the French league after all. Remember that time Neymar dribbled the entire Ligue 1 team? Made it look like he was playing vs boys. Not convinced he would’ve been a hit in the premier league. See Pogba in Serie A vs PL, see Tanguy Ndombele also. Smart decision in his part to choose La Liga over PL. I don’t blame him. Playing in the PL is not for every player, especially playing for Liverpool and in Klopp system and the discipline and dedication that takes. The fact that he even considered coming to Liverpool is huge especially with Real Madrid offer on the table. There’s only a few special players that would’ve turned down RM. With Mbappe I think eventually he’ll be playing for them in a year or two, I think the re-signing was only done to give it a run one more time with Messi and probably for the club to be able to collect a transfer fee.
