Manchester City’s Kyle Walker is due to undergo a scan on his injured hamstring, with the defender rated 50/50 for the clash with Arsenal this weekend.

Walker was captaining England against Brazil when he was forced-off in the first half and subsequently left the squad, missing last night’s draw with Belgium.

The initial diagnosis suggested the problem was not too serious – but Sky Sports News has learned Walker is now due to undergo a scan.

Walker is understood to remain keen to be involved in this Sunday’s title-race clash at the Etihad, which is live on Sky Sports.

City also have to assess John Stones ahead of the game after he limped off early in the Belgium game with an apparent adductor problem.

  1. All this drama will seize to exist after the Arsenal match, Players acting a script, one day after they retired from football they may choose to reveal the truth behind this mysterious injury by half a dozen city players with miraculous healing within few days to face Arsenal.

  2. 😢Honestly this is bad new for us. Us Arsenal fans

Bc he is the one closest to the liability tag among the 40 centerbacks city have. 😅

  3. Arsenal fans should keep in mind that the player they should be worried about,as previous seasons have shown,is the player who has come back from an injury and is match fit, ready to go..KDB.

  4. City has two first team eleven squad and then some. I won’t feel a source of relief if Kyle Walker is not playing tbh. If it was a Rodri, KDB and Haaland that would be another matter. Arsenal is playing the best team in the world and should go there and beat them. COYG

  5. city and Arsenal have been very lucky so far with injuries! Liverpool very unlucky! If city or Arsenal would have been as many injuries than Livepool they would been at least 10 points behind Livepool!!

  6. These lot are just big cheats!!!😢 Especially if they both start the game at the weekend. These incidence undermines the transparency of the game, so what about other clubs that had their players play these extra games??? Are they not important to their respective clubs?😢😢😢
