I think if this Canadian team can find their top form, a SF berth in the Copa America is not out of the question. THAT would create the buzz needed to build for 2026 and do Canada proud at the next World Cup. They will get past T&T no problem. The question is can they get by Chile and Peru and then maybe Ecuador or Mexico? I would put the odds at about 10%. Not great but still doable. We need AJ and Tajon working as a team down that Right Flank… and producing some goals too.

Once this guy's football career is done, he's going to have a hell of a second career in broadcasting.

Alistair should be up for contention for the CanMNT captaincy. He has the necessary charisma, character, and overall energy for such a leadership position.

Personality-wise Johnston should be captain, you want a guy that sounds like a politician pleading with the officials in a crucial situation, but I get that it's probably not going to happen.
