He's under a lot of pressure, this situation is ridiculous to be fair. He's the middle man between the England team and Clubs. We're at the sharp end of the season where clubs are asking England to rest players. Gareth is being treated unfairly.
These players are not injured and will play their next club game. There should be a ban for a player who is “injured” then plays for their club straight after. Maybe a 10 day automatic ban.

The plus side of the match against Brazil was that Gordon,and Bowen hsd good games, but are still consudered fringe players.
Whilst some of the established players, particularly in defence were very average.
It would be interesting to pick a team comprised of so – called fringe players, to see what they can do, in friendlies.
