C'mon guys… Another Jonathan David "transfer speculation" video? LOL… Isn't this the 57th discussion we've had on clubs vying for David? LOL… Anyway, great video, always love listening to you guys discuss Canadian soccer matters… But I think Jonathan David stated not too long ago that he has always been "flattered" by the interest of other clubs in his services, however, he's always respectfully statedt that he has a good thing going on at Lille and he's happy there and will probably stay and fullfil his contract. And then after his contract is up… Well, we can discuss the matter on the 58th or 59th One Soccer video of a potential "Jonathan David transfer." LOL. My wager, David is staying put in Ligue 1 and at Lille. Why not?
David does not fit the mold of the current flavour of strikers who are above 6' and fast. He's also not 21 years old anymore so he's over the hill and not the new toy on the shelf (sarcasm). He's going to move to a top club soon, just relax.
Needs to go to spain.
He doesn't do it during international play. International play is what puts you more on an international level.
The financial state of many European clubs in the top leagues is not the best. This limits expenditures.

Top clubs on in on him because he's not that good. Have you seen him play for Canada. Essentially, he's a tweener. Doesn't really have the striker's instinct, speed and heading ability and not really a top-notch set up guy. To play on top clubs you need to clearly be outstanding in one facet of the game and he's not.
