I dropped a lot of money supporting the CanMNT's journey to Qatar. In Qatar I think they did us proud despite coming up a little short. I for one had a great time at those Qatar matches. Since that time however I don't think the squad has been focused and that needs to change ASAP. If Canada is to do well in 2026, I think they should be reaching the QF of the Copa America and being competitive in that match, and then building on that. The lapse against Jamaica is water under the bridge. Time to take it to T&T and re-establish our role as one of the top dogs in CONCACAF. I am very nervous about this upcoming match because we will be absent a lot of key players who got us to Qatar: Borjan, Vitoria, Hutchinson, Hoilett, Osorio, Laryea and Adekugbe. THAT'S 7 of 16 2022 starters. Time for some new team leaders to emerge.
