      People forget the absence of silva at the semi final of wcup in brazil because of injury or one match suspension led to brazil biggest & humiliating defeat by germany… If silva or neymar played the results might be a win for brazil.. that's how good thiaga silva is compared to other brazil central defenders.

      Even at 37 hes true quility as a centre back…not as quick obviously but reads the game magnificently. You can also see why he's still an important player for his national team too.

      What most fans Don't know that he is playing as one of 3 center backs with 2 overlapping full backs , he can't play a high line defense again, that's what most people don't get he can't defend well like that on 1 vs 1again with full speed and tackle , he is okay because of the formation adopted by tuchel

      Thiago needs a better salary at Chelsea. Its like 3mil this year. Should be triple of that at least. He does so much and as a leader in the back. He's saved them countless times.

      EPL fanatic fans , they just discovered TS2, …..a player who they kept saying HE IS PLAYING AT A FARMER LEAGUE !
      PSG doesn't regret , they have Marquinhos and Kimpembe.
      I'm little disappointed the ESPN didn't blame for Neymar for this too……

      What would Chelsea do if he leaves next season? to be honest he is almost at the level of VVD for Liverpool and so important for Chelsea….

      Thiago Silva "the player" was never the issue at PSG. The issue was Thiago Silva "the captain". I love that he is doing well at Chelsea. However, PSG needed new leadership/voice.

      He can only play in a 5-3-2 situation. He is too old to play play with a back four. He has to play deep because he has lost pace. He is one the reasons along with Miranda why Brazil lost to Belgium in the WC. He is also the main reason why DiMaria was able to get behind the Brazilian left back Renan Lodi he couldn't come across to cover because he has lost his pace. This happened in the Copa America final.If Eder Militao was there that wouldn't happen. He is still an ok defender but if Brazil should not play either him or Daniel Alves in the WC at the end of the year. If they do thats asking for trouble. Can you imagine him trying to keep up with guys like Mbappe now. In the past he could but not at this stage of his career.
