Slow motion Gakpo is such an awful player. He could play in division 2 and still would look ordinary. I’m okay if a player lacks quality on ball, but off the ball as well he just jogs around without any real purpose.
My only hope was Edward’s was watching that game.. maybe we can cash in during the summer if Cody doesn’t improve.
Gakpo has been bad for a while he has no idea when to pass or shoot and was stood around doing nothing when he came on stood miles away from a red shirt.
My shining stars for sure are endo and Macca and I’d like to see some more from szobo as he comes back from injury to cement his place in that midfield 3.

Sometimes i question if Garpo plays for us with passion, Nunez was missing and making mistakes for long but he offered much and we saw the passion, Garpo does nothing, no intensity , pressing………we need to see passion to support him like we did with Nunez
I am shocked Cody gakpo is wasting his possessions look at him it is also lacking of his own intensity in our counterattacks every time he has the ball pass it sideways not backwards the interception he made it was brutal I totally blame him he should not wasting away our possessions is lacking the way he play was shite he should know that don’t to nothing he supposed to help not just throwing the possession away that is not good enough we can’t be wasting things away like that he was poor that is not helping at all we can’t play like that he’s own possession is awful he shouldn’t finish the game off because of him he should not giving away that is wasting our possessions is wasting that was his fault
I think you should blame Klopp more than anyone else, Klopp knows Gakpo has been shite everytime he's played but he keeps playing him. Danns was a much better pick than Gakpo. Plus, keeping Gomez on for too long didn't help, he should have came off at the same time as Robbo. Kostas is better than Robbo and Gomez at the moment.
People have such short memory when it comes to Gakpo. He was literally one of our best players final months of last season. It's no wonder he can't find form when he's constantly coming off the bench and/or played out of position (he's an LW, not a ST, let alone an RW or midfielder). If only people had the same patience with him as they did with Nunez, who was shit for months
