If soccer were the most popular sport in the US from the beginning (1800s) and the US had a great soccer culture, great academies, a great league, and players grew up learning how to play the sport properly (like American players do in football, baseball, basketball, even hockey, the sports that are popular in the US), the US would have won 6-8 of the 21 World Cups
