Quote: “ but with international breaks scheduled during June and July, it does cut into an already interrupted summer break for the majority of the Arsenal squad.”
With a lot of research around injuries and ACLs indicating they are more common following travel or change this does not make sense to me. I can’t imagine many players will be too happy since their break is already so disrupted.

And I just remembered the Australians play a game on the 31st of May (luckily in Australia) and I checked and a lot of the players will play their Euro qualifiers then which is only six days after the match. I wonder if they’re just going to get their academy players to come to Australia as it would be a great experience for them.
