Liverpool lack quality. Everytime they go forward I have the gut feeling that there will be a mis-placed pass or make the wrong decision or taking pot shots.

Now we realize that there is huge difference in level between Mo Salah and the likes of Nunez and Gakpos who are wasteful not good finishers and make many wrong choices and offer no creativity. Klopp made wrong substitutions Szobo and Mo shouldn't get subbed by the 70 minutes.

The Sparta game was not a very demanding game it was like a harder training day even if they played the full time so the subs were way too early for MO and DOM.

As it turns out, if they had kept Salah in the game instead of replacing him with Gakpo, I think they would have won.
As soon as Szobo got substituted off , we lost the midfield battle. He was our best midfielder in the first half and was such a threat on the counter.

no one in substitution make better or upgrade, just make it worse. in city and united games klopp should sub diaz early. he just turnover machine with no threat overall.

No doubt there were shocking, maybe even stupid individual errors and other factors that cost us the game, but I think a massive factor is also the team's decision to sit back on a one goal lead away at Old Trafford. I think that is complacency or perhaps even overconfidence. Besides that, there was the 5 vs 2 counter attack during normal time and the 4 vs 2 during extra time, both of which we failed to score. Very wasteful and fully deserved to lose this one. I really really hope this does not happen in the title race.
