Romelu Lukaku will stay at Chelsea following clear-the-air talks with Thomas Tuchel and the striker accepts his controversial interview with Sky in Italy was a mistake.
In an interview with Sky in Italy that was recorded a few weeks ago but first aired last Thursday, Lukaku said he was unhappy with his role at the club and would like to return to Inter Milan in the near future.
But Lukaku now believes he should not have made the comments that led to him being omitted from Chelsea’s squad for the 2-2 home draw against Liverpool on Sunday.
The panel on ‘Good Morning Transfers’ discussed this news as well as updates on the futures of Antonio Rudiger and Thiago Silva.

If you think about it, Chelsea won champions league without lukaku, it was Chelsea defending that make them champions. Pressing from the front. Lukaku doesn’t press and isn’t an agile player. His a target man but he doesn’t really play tuchels style. The 90 million they could’ve put towards the Chelsea players who deserve the earning for the performances they have been putting in
That’s not enough where’s he’s public apology first to Chelsea fc then tuchel and the team then the fans. Scoring goals and playing a match isn’t brushing over anything !!!

The fact that these Clubs are courting Rudiger is a testament to his quality, just give the man a better contract. It might be far more expensive to replace his quality in the long term.

Chelsea did not need to pay that much money for lukaku but at least it’s over and lukaku is back in the team

As a football fan I expect my club (from manager, fans and owner) to understand what kind of players they are signing and what the club needs to do to make the player be a success. Clubs sign these top cup-winning players and then they just expect them to adapt to any odd system where the player can’t give you the best of his talent.
Well it’s time to say: Enough of the BS on constantly attacking the players, especially when they may be right. Because the Clubs and it’s fans can also suffer from delusions about their greatness or systems and may be it requires an accomplished player to point them out what’s going wrong!
Now! If Chelsea fans think the height of being insulted is the fact that Lukaku went public with this information about the ‘system’ or that he wishes he was somewhere else is the issue, then they may as well as forget winning anything ever.
That's a shame…I was rather hoping Lukaku would insist on leaving.

Don't rate him at all…he is a bull in a china shop…that misses the china. In all the teams he has been in, he comes in hard, scores a few, gets injured, performance goes down..he leaves….for more hype and more money. Chelsea does not need him, like my team sure as hell does not Grealish. Thomas T is an excellent man manager, and bugger it all….took the CL from us in a few months of being there….RL is a distraction, as is Jack the lad, where too much money was paid for so/so performances…
