Mount for United was expected to play in the double 6 in the defensive phase and as a wide inside 8/10 in attack. Like Enzo for us. Build up he is a 6 in our own half. Then goes higher when building in the opposition half, and general finishes up in the box with a delayed run.
I’m a huge Mount and Havertz fan. They are both much better than many people give them credit for. They were with us in their developmental phase and turmoil in the club. They will be highly important players for their clubs… unfortunately for ours.
“Not football reasons” doesn’t necessarily mean 💵. I think it was more that his feelings were hurt that Chelsea didn’t want him any more. He went from a golden child that felt loved to a castaway pretty quickly. That’s enough to wreck someone who thought they would retire as a Chelsea legend.
I like Maatsen, but he's very short and, if you want to play a back four, you can't have tiny FBs. Once James is fit, given his injury issues, I say sell him. Gusto has been just as good. I don't want to see us playing a back 3 just to try and fit in James. Chilwell needs to be sold while he has value. He's not the dynamic LB he used to be. Defensively, he's more of a liability than Cucurella.
Mason Mount? He chased the money. He made his choice. He could have signed the deal on the table and dragged his feet for months, before the club pulled the offer.
My opinion academy is great for making fund to buy players like Gusto. Specially when they have British tax on them. Sell them all , sell Reece James as well
These white English, Chelsea simps say that he had a deal taken off the table, as if we are supposed to feel sorry for him. He had an opportunity to take the deal and he didn’t, Chelsea were within their rights to pull the deal after protracted and difficult negotiations.
You people don't understand how bad mount was, Palmer has more through balls than mount this season than mount whole 4 season here. Mount had 13 through Ball in 4 seasons and Palmer has 16 this season.
Hi Yann ! Struggling to understand how the whole mason mount situation is anything new… anyone with 2 working brain cells can put 2 and 2 together, his choice was obvious. I guess now, its a bit more official.
I have no hate or disdain towards Mason, i think im not the only one who shares a feeling of disappointment. But like you said, I wish him well and ill always remember him for his service when he was with us.
Ive had a sample of Didier Drogba's hair with me since 2007, I've been working on a clone of him but have had somewhat… disappointing results. Will shout when ive nailed it so we can have our king back 😢
Mount had a good offer on the table but decided himself that he will wait till after euros .so it's his own fault he didn't sign the deal wen it was offered

Gallagher > Mount. Chelsea has made a lot of mistakes in the last few years, but that was not one of them.
mason who?
They might be thinking on selling James , because he is a complete profit
You are massively over-rating Broja , Jackson is twice as good, not to mention DDF
Chilly will have to retire to AC Milan if they get Davies
Yes the money is helpful, but I'd rather have Broja back.
Absolutely no love for mount. Wanted way to much money for the player he was at the time and he's only regressed after joining utd

We really should go for David if we going for lb if he even wanted to join Chelsea

Id like to ask hows it going for mount
I'd rather play gusto over James tbh
What's thr problem, is fulham's not suited for him, or is Broja just not good enough ?
If Reece comes back – BIG if – he will be a step or two slower. Still quality but never the same quickness and power.
Why are we still talking about a snake like mount ?
Are you the one rapping in the intro song?

Do a video on Chris Jurasek saying that the club is a product and the fans are customers

I bet he regrets not signing that deal before euros .was silly business by him and his dad
