Nick pope was clearly at fault for the third goal. But when gnabry shot you could clearly see the bounce right in front of pope, which i can understand isn't easy to catch . So I do feel for him.
Pope had a 'mare and probably helped confirm for Southgate that Ramsdale should be England number 2.

Nick pope is number 3 behind Ramsdale and Pickford, Southgate has no real style of play as a manager. He was a defender and plays defensive no attacking plays apart from the obvious. Just get it in the box

Never mind being positive. The dead wood needs cutting out and the benched quality we have in the squad needs to be given the chance to shine, which Southgate should have done in this Mickey Mouse league. Opportunity squandered.

Ramsdale is a better goalkeeper than Pope. I said this before. The stats tells it all. More clean sheets, more saves, and playing in a top team that has been the top of the table since opening day!

Why didn't Ramsdale, a player adept at playing from the back and a great shot stopper, given the game?
Really tough one for Pope, a ball with pace bounced right in front of the keeper is a nightmare to control. But a mistake is a mistake, even if it's understandable. Now as for other mistakes in this game, there were two consecutive mistakes by a certain player that were a lot harder to figure out.
Nick Pope deserves to be England's Number one goalkeeper 2022/23. 👏

Seaman was my favourite player as a kid I use to play in goal myself and my first shirt was an arsenal goalkeeper shirt he needs to get his ponytail back he’s not the same without it.
Now that’s out the way I would put ramsdale ahead of pope in the picking order.

Be careful what you wish for England fans. Pickford will be much worse than Pope with that poor defence infront of him. Pope didnt cover himself in glory against Germany, but I support NUFC, and watch him every game, and hes definitely better than Pickford, who's a proper liability at times. When he comes to our place with Everton he gets hammered for all the mistakes he makes. The whole stadium knows hes going to make a mistake that costs Everton, and very rarely does he let us down.
