      Great win today from TFC. Love to see the team coming together under John Herdman thus far. Cannot wait to see Longstaff with Flores more regularly and for Lareya to get back to full fitness. This team will be good this year if they can stay healthy.

      This team is amazing and reminds me of the true Canadian spirit of uniting anyone from anywhere to the cause. I honestly think they can beat Miami. Inter is from Milan not Miami so please everyone stop pushing this fraud. Regardless of the name they are the best team along with Toronto in the league. But I honestly think their old timers will wear thin through out the year. Lets GO TFC!!!

      As a Charlotte fan my response to this goal was a mixture of amazement and disappointment at the same time.
      What a goal man, perfect!

      Toronto’s turn around is what makes MLS special. All teams are given equal footing to change their fate season to season. Complain if you don’t like it but it is certainly a unique aspect of MLS.

      His call on the Insigne goal felt like he didn’t know what to say to get people hyped

      It only takes a small mistake for a good player to take advantage… Charlotte had 2 players on Insigne… Byrne was behind shadowing the subbed in Arfield who let Toronto's top player get inside of him (and no one else came to help)… if Arfield just stepped to the inside of Insigne to force him back to the sideline he came from Byrne would have been there clean up. Either fatigue, misunderstanding roles or lack of communication are often the issues in those situations. Since Arfield was newly subbed in I doubt that fatigue was an issue. He has had some consistent subbed in minutes with Byrne but might not be enough time to know under Dean Smith's system. Charlotte needs clean sheets if their offense continues to be so anemic.

      A few observations from the game for Toronto:
      – Flores, Gomis, and Long (in that order) have added a significant amount of defense to TFC. A lot more confidence, and Flores just wins challenges. Has integrated so quickly and the main reason their defense is solid.
      – No target man up top! Osorio was the highest man up there for a long time in the 1st and there was no real effort to get the ball there.
      – The ball is not played wide very well. Toronto shifts it side to side but does not attack up the wings as much as they could.
      – Gavran filled in well for Sean Johnson. They're still missing him.
      – Coello can be replaced with Matty Longstaff in an experimental manner. Give the kid some run.

      What a great goal. I can't wait till Matty gets his career back on track here. He'll be playing against Messi while his brother is stuck being disappointing for my Newcastle 😭
