The biggest problem Iโve had with the likes of Phillips and Maguire being selected for years is that it sends a terrible message to all prospective English players whether they are in the set-up or not. Southgate has basically said for years โyour form doesnโt matter and I have my favorites.โ If I were a player, I would not respect that type of selection process at all.
What amount of performance can he give from now till the end of the season that will make him deserve a spot?!

I mean, there's no point in debating it. He'll be in the squad because southgate is the most predictable/stubborn manager in world football

This is our year, with the talent we have in our squad we simply have to win this Euros. But I seriously worry with Southgate at the helm yet again
