Not really. Most of them were forward passes. Not that it matters anyway, you will notice if you watch Barcelona that Xavi and Iniesta pass backwards all the time.

They didn't adapt tiki taka as they play now until Guardiola came in, and you'll find before him, they didn't win as many trophies and they lost games that they'd walk, they actually lost 1-2 to Liverpool in 2007 at Camp Nou. I take your point that Xavi is 30 years(ish) old and has passed well for a long time, but the Barcelona of 6 years ago is not the same as this one. Spain aren't the greatest team ever, they're the best at the moment. The saying still goes "It's just like watching Brazil".
