Absolutely not, Arteta has killed Ramsdales career
As a Goal keeper what people don’t understand if you dominate your box you take that situation away to deal with more shots. So even if his shot stopping isn’t best but his out right box domination allows him to get a clean sheet. Secondly his playing out from the back is top quality aswell so when you have combination of the 2 is better then having a great shot stopper but nothing else. I used to be a really good shot stopper when I was 17-19 then one of the older guys helped me understand about talk to the defence and claiming things. As soon as I done that I was less busy with shot stopping and everyone after the game would congratulate me. Where as before I would stop so many shots but the odd mistake and people be mad with me.
Keep at it mate! You will do better!

It’s funny we see Raya vs Rams but never see Rams vs Pickford for the no 1 England goalkeeper when competitions come around (British media doing British things innit)

This debate should be done by now, but then Ramsdale is English so it's gone be there come next season.
Why is this debate starting again. Ramsdale is a better shot stopper than Raya like Leno is better than Ramsdale in shot stopping. Leno got replaced because of his lack of distribution. Now Rambo is getting replaced because of lack of distribution and claiming the ball comparatively than Raya. Why push this debate when Raya has became the no.1.

Saying our defence is miles better this season is such poor punditry. Ramsdale let in a lot of weak goals last season through a lack of concentration, couldnt sweep us as well as Raya has this season and couldnt dominate his penalty area half as well. Thats why our defence is better.

well Arteta knows what he want Ramsdale is not a bad goal keeper i feel for him playing the remaining games of last season with defenders like holding and kiwor when saliab got injured Raya have a very strong defense in front of him this season that gives him more advantages and make him as less saves so far .

i don't think he have much contribute than ramsdale but the thing is ramsdale nervousness have impact in the game and players making it hard to control the game and his longpasses are not accurate as raya but i still don't see raya making saves like ramsdale did
They are two exceptional goalkeepers and their stats says it all, the only difference between them is that raya is better with his feet and is more composed than the other

i loved ramsdale and i cant thank him enough but raya is a miles better ball playing keeper and that is what teams look for now only allison is a good shot stopper who still players for an elite club
I think Raya just suits Arsenal’s play style better, simple as that
