  1. Honestly this whole “we need to play attacking front foot football” is becoming tedious and almost like a woke mindset. Not every team can play that way and every club should play to their strengths.
West Ham have done really well under Moyes. That’s why football is fascinating… different tactics, methodologies, effort and passion. If every club plays the same way it will get boring. I think this is why city have been so dominant the last few seasons. Every one is trying to imitate them… imitations are always worse than the original folks.

  2. Pardew got no bottle when he's put under pressure. Well played Sounness. Goes from saying he's a terrific player to 'he wasn't the right singing for West Ham' after one question. Poor punditry

  3. Souness is spot on. David Moyes has had enough time now to improve the style. Overall he´s done a good job: there has been success, a trophy, Europe, and there has been team development and quality players signed. But nobody wants to watch Mourinho football now; the Italians made it popular in the 80s but it was horrible to watch. And if it stops working it´s the manager´s job to formulate another style, to turn games around, which Moyes has found too often beyond him.

  4. You're all nuts. Phillips is top quality. Give him a break. Has hardly played any football this season. No better player in the world at breaking up play and turning defence into attack. Him and Rice in MF for England no brainer. He cocked up moving to Citie although his agent and bank balance would likely not agree.

  5. I watched a video with Ben Foster and that panel summed up the bias in the media. Preaching to West Ham fans becareful what you wish for but couldn’t name another club where DM gets another job from a top half club. 😂😂😂😂

  6. So much of the criticism directed at Moyes from the West Ham fan-base carries the feint whiff of what is now an acquired snobbery that emanated in the 60's under Ron Greenwood i.e. we only want to win playing attacking expansive football and using only home grown talent. Truth be told, they haven't been able to retain the players to deliver that brand of football for at least 30 years. Imagine what a team that contained Rio Ferdinand, Joe Cole, Frank Lampard, Jermain Defoe, Michael Carrick and Glen Johnson might have achieved?

  7. KP has never been PL quality. I watched him for too many years at leeds and he never impressed me. Sure Bielsa 'improved' him but he does that with most players for 1-2 seasons. KP is championship/league one at best.

  8. Loads lf people ready to jump on kp. He is a top player who has had a rubbish couple of years. Whever he settles properly and gets games he will get back to being a great player. Ignore all the england chat. That is by the by. He lost all form and confidence at city. He has played awful at west ham for sure. But he will be good again. All those calling him rubbish will conveniently forget it when he gets back to what he was.

  9. As a WHU season ticket holder I will be going tonight against Brentford against my better judgement. The football has been rubbish for two seasons. No entertainment, no wins and the stadium is dead. Moyes has to go.

  10. The problem with kalvin is he’s a confidence player and he’s confidence is at an all time low at the minute. Get him playing for a manager who can get that confidence back and make him feel loved and wanted and he’ll be back to he’s best like he was at Leeds… Gareth Southgate makes him feel like that and that’s why you never really see him have a bad game for England. Bielsa was the same for him he just needs a run of games and a manager who believes in him

  11. The fact is my remarks in 2021 on kalvin Phillips are consistent with those by his critics today. Like many international performances, overrated. Lack of fundamental footballing skill. 1000 times too many coaches and other leeches. You just the need the best players, the likes of bowen who outperform junk like kp.

  12. Kalvin Phillips was decent at Leeds but a certain Bielsa shaped him that way on his strong points.
The players Bielsa put around him immediately in that side made him look an essential part when he probably wasn’t. 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻
See plenty of Millwall v Leeds with him involved.
I don’t see it going that well for him at West H##. Esp with Moyes.
