Dear Maria, Iran despite seeming like a typical Islamic country in the middle east on the surface (because how the government portrays itself) but if you dig a little deeper you will quickly realize most of the population are either agnostic or athiest. Night life, parties and alchohol are a regular part of most millenial Iranian lives and most of them take insult and do not like even being called muslim because Persian identity and culture is so ancient and our customs and traditions are very contradictive of the Islamic way of life.
