People who started watching MMA through UFC have NO IDEA, ZERO NOTION what PRIDE was. UFC put MMA in the same level of boxing in terms of recognition and professionalism, but PRIDE was the peak of entertainment. MMA nowadays looks like watching paint dry compared to that era.

Yeayea and all who commented just came to me they used to do the weight and no weight-class tournaments and was it 3 fights in single night…. Oh fuck yes. PRIDE FC was kick ass…(And stomp kick was allowed and knee to head when in ground-game grappling or Waza or whatever you want to call it…. Nostalgia great fantaastic!!!!!
Silvas punching was not in orthodox, it was sloppy and bad
