  1. Fair enough a red card, but if the ref used VAR for the red card which was given for an elbow in the panalty box, shouldnt a penalty be given? Not a replay of the corner?

  2. He was always a dirty player, got away with loads of stuff like this when playing in the PL because he was English and played for Manchester United, about time he got punished

  3. I have no problems with the red card but if it's a foul and red card it has to be a penalty, not a retake of the corner. I don't understand how they can restart the game like that. What a joke refereeing. The only thing I'll say is that if Rooney gets a red card for that then there has to be more red cards given because in the penalty box on corners things like that get done all the time and go unpunished. The player on the ground definitely sold it. It wouldn't have hurt that much but we live in an age where players are told to dive at the slightest touch it needs to be eradicated from the game but referees are too pussy to yellow card for simulation.

  4. Goes to how much of a trash Rooney is – never won anything for England, can't even win in the worst professional league in the world that is MLS.

  6. The DC goalie had such a better angle on that incident that he knows better than the VAR. They need to start yellowing players for complaining after VAR decisions.

  7. That’s a Forearm not a elbow but still no reason for that and that’s dangerous and dirty also in the box so should be a red card and a penalty kick and he should be fined for the forearm and also fined for not leaving the field and Rooney has been playing this sport for so long he knows better then that
