I remember a comment that said "Rice is just a midfield pickpocket" (in a good way). I think it's true. The way he snatches/nicks those balls away from the opposition… It's just insane. Now play him alongside Partey where he has a more advanced role, getting involved in the press and winning possession for us very close to the opposition box. This would be super effective against the bigger teams like City who like building from the back. Rice… What a signing for us!
