We would need at least half a dozen quality players if we were to get promoted that is when we will find out what the 49ers are all about and whether they have the finances and ambition to move this club forward

Rodon had his toughest game of the season friday night he was close to the edge he ain't no ben white certainly no rolls royce lacking a yard of pace but worth a bid for the prem as long as we don't go daft boy prices.
We would need to be spending in excess of 100 million if we were to get promotion that's the reality of what we would have do
If we fail to go up and not been able to afford rodon shows the gap between what we would have to spend and what we would be likely to spend if we didn't go up
It could be another complicated summer sorting out all the loan players 😕

We had a taste of the premier league. A lesson was learnt we would have to spend a considerable amount to stay there if we get up
I don't think we should pay more than £10m for Rodon if we go up. His defending is OK but he can't play progressive passes and is too easy to isolate, as Leicester showed. We huffed and puffed on Friday due to our lack progressive passing ability at the back and in central midfield. Mellier, Rodon and Ampadu can't play progressive passes. Kamara can't play decisive forward passes. That leaves Gruev as the only progressive passer linking the defence to the attack against half decent second tier sides. In the second division we can often get away with this huge gap in creative ability. In the first we'll rarely get out of our own half.
£20m , Rodon is not worth it.

remember when Arsenal wanted harry kewell for 7 million liverpool came in offered 4 million the player dug his heals and we sold for 4 less the 2 we paid kewell . Rodon has to do the same if we get promoted and hes happy here

Huddersfield away is a tough game, coming so soon after Chelsea away. It will be the game of their season as well. I just feel that our players may be a bit jaded, whereas theres will be fresh. A tough game
Rodon was exposed as a Championship player on Friday. He's done well but he's just shy of good enough for the Prem. 20 mill is far too rich for him. If we want to stay up next year, he'd be a bench player.
