England played well for the majority of the match, but we just do not have enough players with the sort tactical awareness that can win the important matches anymore. Lots of work is going on with the youth teams who won the under 17s World Cup and the under 21 Euro cup, so the potential for the future looks good. Time will tell but only if they can gain the top level experience of playing in the first teams at club level. Belgium have a fantastic side and fantastic individual players presently so no shame in loosing to them. Good luck Croatia today, I hope you win the World Cup.
