I recall him scoring a screamer against us last season and he didnt celebrate.
He always mentions how much he loves the club and fans. So reverse that, he was only on loan and his time here, a short period, has stuck with him so much, that he talks highly constantly of our club.

Arsenal fan here and I think it's ridiculous for any of our fans to complain about others over-celebrating when we've had to go through this tedious narrative the last few weeks ourselves. If Gallagher wants to celebrate like that then he's free to do so – especially if he's been booed by his old fans. If Rice wants to be a bit more restrained then that's fine as well.

1. Gallagher scored a last minute screamer to win the game against Palace last season. And he didn't celebrate.
