Richarlison had 8, arguably 9, turnovers in the Brighton game, usually in key areas during the attack. If we ever want to win the league, this has to be addressed.
I think Pape is the link between the attackers and defenders and no one in the club can handle that role at that level.

Great debate but I feel much of the fanbase seems to see games with blinkers on. Im pretty sure that in the first half we were playing the same way that weve played since Ange arrived. The difference was that Brighton actually pressed the crap out of us and caused us to make many mistakes and actually made us play poorly. So kudos to Brighton out pressing us in the first half. Hopefully the squad will be better drilled not to fall into that trap for the next games cause we seemed to be getting worked out to a degree. That said, its very encouraging when we can outscore any team that tried to upset our rhythm. Cheers guys.

Heard another spurs show before the match saying how sarr wasn’t in there strongest midfield and yesterday they were singing his praises how much we need him. Spurs fans can be so simple minded . It’s obvious he has a winning mentality and drives that midfield and wants to win every match and he is still so young.
Bentancur is a Rolls Royce of a midfielder .
Hoping our star assets VDV, Son, Maddison , Sarr , Udogie Romero as well as Vicario and Richy keep fit and avoid suspensions over the remainder of the season and if so im confident we'll finish top 4

This is the best squad that we've had in a long time. When we challenged Leicester for the league, you could make an argument that our starting 11 was better, but out bench was not this good.

Tbh Johnson has been frustratingly bad. Mostly his passing and ball control. However abusing him is obviously not going to improve the situation

Proper fans should want the style of play we are using. The thing is, as we get better and the squad gets stronger, we will score more and concede less.
The penalty was always going to be given because the player was impeded with what he wanted to do. I actually think, however, that VDV had his foot stood on as he pulled it away, and therefore caused the trip. I can't get a proper view on this and have no ability to record on my tv, so I have to rely on looking at it on my phone, but thats what it looked like when I watched MotD. Still a penalty but not so much a mistake by VDV as people think maybe?
Sarr will undoubtedly be one of the midfielders wanted by all clubs within the next 2 years at most. He is awesome already and our Viera in my book.
