Gio= spoiled Nepo baby
Gio Reyna just moved to the top league in the world. He is going to have to roll up his sleeves and work.
Brand new league. In a relegation battle. Player hasn’t been playing much this season. Current starters are showing signs of life. Let’s be honest. Gio was brought in to provide depth for the team, not as a starter. It’s better to be #3 on the depth chart vs #6 like he was at Dortmund.
To me Gio seems like a prima donna player who slacks defensively. Very few players get a pass on playing D.
Firstly, it's still early days at Nottingham Forest and we don't know why he didn't feature in the latest match. I think there's a lot of confirmation bias involved in the judgment about his minutes there so far. Secondly, even if his low minutes continue with Nottingham Forest, there doesn't have to be "some kind of constant" that's happening for Gio Reyna to not get minutes with two successive coaches. Look at Pulisic for a counterexample to that. Multiple coaches gave him very few minutes and tended to play him out of position. But as we can see with how he's performed at Milan, a team far better than Chelsea have been over the last few years, it didn't mean he was not good enough to feature for a mid-table Premier League team and it didn't mean that there had to be some sort of constant to his playing or his training because he was down the pecking order for multiple coaches.
Sargent has to be absolutely perfect USA soccer will give every other striker 20 chances because of demographic marketing reasons. He is by far the best US striker. Not even close. If you actually watch Norwich play he’s right below Christian and Weston as probably best American
player. No joke it’ll be straight politics if he’s not starting striker.
