We started the game well, but they had enough depth to change the game and unfortunately we are not quite there yet. I think a draw is fair, we were better in the first half and missed clear chances, but they were better in the 2nd half and also missed sitters. It could have gone either way, but of course you will blame Poch. Lewis if you think the subs were poor, were you expecting Poch to bring Mudryk and Madueke on to be the game changers? City would have won the game if that were the case. City were pinning us back long before substitutions were made and Poch was trying to solidify things at the back. Bringing on players like Mudryk and Madueke that arent disciplined enough defensively would have made things more difficult. We need more time to grow as a team and to work on these things, before we can start criticizing Poch for bottling it against the best team in Europe.

The big players always make the difference in the big games and that is why they are sought after and paid so much and hence Raheem Sterling. In the big games earlier in the season Chelsea were expected to lose against Liverpool, Tottenham when they were at the top of the table, Arsenal and Man City, the action of one man saved them and that man like this Man City team was Raheem Sterling. Not in one game did any other player step up to deal with those big teams in a significant manner except maybe Disasi in this game and I don't blame them because those teams are a different level, the players are a different level, but Raheem Sterling is of their level and was playing for two of them, not just one. But they and the fans must be thankful and when playing the weaker teams these other players must step up and not expect the best player to deal with that too in every game. These big teams are the ones you meet late in competitions and the ones you have to beat to win competitions so players like Sterling who are of their calibre and experience make it possible in need to be respected. If Chelsea had lost those games against the big teams as expected, earlier in the season, they would be fighting relegation and Sterling has been consistently been the one to make the significant action that saves Chelsea from defeat in all those games. Chelsea supporters should not be fooled and brainwashed by a media with a racially motivated agenda against Sterling which he has had to endure from them throughout his career ever since he was 17 years old, even demanding he be dropped from the England team only for him to almost singlehandedly drag England to their first final in 50 years, something all the other players they praised so highly such as Rooney and Beckham could not achieve and something no other English player today could achieve for England or for anybody else. Don't be fooled by the fact he is playing for a young inexperienced team. I knew if Sterling did not play, Chelsea would lose and if Sterling played he would again be the one to make the significant action that saves Chelsea from defeat or helps Chelsea win. The historical stats and facts tell you that and make it so blatantly obvious. All the media asked about the game before it was Cole Palmer despite these facts and yet three times Pep mentioned Raheem Sterlings name, but the press with an agenda were not interested in talking about him. Sterling was the player on Pep's mind, but the media hated the fact he had been the player that got Chelsea the goal and changed the subject not prepared to utter his name. If Cole Palmer scored you would seen the questions about him from the press flying in and heard his name being mentioned until the cows come home. Sick people. Please don't let them transfer their sickness to you. Peace and love

I love your videos Lewis and your passion and love for the club, but some of these people in the comments are right. You do need to be prepared to expect a couple more seasons of finishing outside top 4. There’s a lot more clubs competing for them spots now and unfortunately for us this started to happen as Chelsea are going through a change ourselves. New owners, whole new team who are very young .. some players playing there first season in Prem. IT IS a process, I understand the frustration but compared to last year we’re scoring a lot more goals , playing as a team better and things will get better, as proven with matches like this one!

We’re in a cup final also, and realistically 6th/7th place finish isn’t out of thr equation.

As fans we have to support regardless , even if we were in a relegation battle. Look what happened at Villa away in the FA cup. Away support was outstanding so momentum built within the team, that same rules applies wherever you are as a fan.

This is our club and yes it’s been a hell of a tough year but things are much better now and definitely in the right direction with a good set of players. We have to carry on the support and not switch to “ Gallagher out, poch out , chillwell is shit get him out “ if we lose a game.
