Calvin Davies’ sublime piece of skill that led to Pompey’s opening goal against Plymouth Argyle in the first round of the FA Youth Cup.

Davies collected a looping loose ball and in one fluid motion, span and beat his hapless defender with ease.

His resultant cross was bundled in by midfielder Adam May, to give The Blues the lead at Home Park on the stroke of half-time. They would go on to win the match 3-0.

  1. Good to see we're finally focusing on getting a good crop of young talent after years of abusing the transfer market for big money buys. Bodes well for the future.

  2. What a skill I do that a lot when playing football but I haven't seen any one pull it if better than that. Great cross and goal too. Well done lads
