  1. Chelsea have been playing very well against the tougher teams. Today they played exceptionally well, against arsenal they outplayed and dominated them and the only reason arsenal got a point was a Robert Sanchez error and a jammy little goal from trossard. Against Liverpool in august they dominated and even in November they had the best game of the season against city. Pochettino gets everything right against the tougher teams but against beatable opposition he gets everything wrong

  2. Looking at the title race as a neutral, I still think Man City and Liverpool will be the main two going at it like we’ve seen before. Arsenal are yet to show that they can last the full marathon of the season and pull through the high pressure moments; they’ve shown their tendency to go jelly knees at the final sprint. I’m still gonna say Man City for the title; we all know they’re yet to hit top gear for the final sprint and I think that’s what will win them the league.

  3. Taking off Palmer is why Chelsea drew. Once he was taken off they had no real attack threat and for once I can say even taking Sterling off was a bad idea and I’d be honest and say I usually give him stick for not doing good enough but he definitely had more legs in him than Nkunku

  4. Caicedo was annoying me, once he realised, one more mistimed tackle and he was going to get sent off, he just sat back and done nothing, inviting so much pressure. Why Poch did not bring him off and stick Gallagher next to Enzo I don't know. Chelsea could have won this game had they been braver

  5. Not disagreeing with what they’re saying about city’s title chances here, but the same energy wouldn’t be kept if it were Liverpool or Arsenal dropping those points.

  6. Why did he take off Palmer?! He's the fulcrum for Chelsea in how he receives the ball & how he slows down the tempo. Chelsea have to braver with the ball & Caicedo needs to demand the ball from the goalie. Enzo was great but has a long way to reach Rodri's level. Chilwell seems better as a wingback.

  7. Sturridge was right the moment nkunku and casadei came on chelsea starting sitting far too deep

sitting deep and pumping long balls up top is not the way to beat this city side… the formula was there in that first half no need to change it
