He should never have been left on for 90 minutes. Also I don't understand the Lewis Hall deal…or even Livramento. Both look class but they just don't play. Our priorities were surely a defensive midfielder and another forward? If we had we'd probably be still in the Champs League, possibly Carabao Cup Final and be about 10 points better off in the league. Of our 4 summer signings none has played regularly to improve the first team.
Wilson is simply falling to pieces, can't see anyone signing him though, so possibly 3rd choice next season.
The signing of Woods was a panic buy as a direct result of Wilson's fitness. Whilst not a great striker, it did put a body in the box. He drew defenders out wide at times and his presence was a benefit for us. I can't understand why, we sold him and then didn't bring in another striker when Wilson's fitness issue was still there. Even if Isak played more games we still need reliable cover and it wasn't going to be Wilson. The Club have really slipped up here.
i can see him retiring early i think he is done i dont think he will ever be fully match fit as he never has a long enough run to get match fit therefore keeps picking up injurys becuase he isnt fit . if that makes sense lol

I'm astounded that we've signed 43 (lol) young goalkeepers and centre backs from Ireland, but we don't have a single striker in the u21s, reserves, academy or whatever, who know where the net is and can step up. Look at Brighton. They have a player who has his head turned, they leave, a youngstrel or unknown takes his place and within a year or so they're on their way for mega bucks too. Ashworth took most of the credit for that, but based on his record for us so far, i'm thinking he had little to do with it. Anyone can sign two young fullbacks that everyone knows for almost £80 million, but you have to be a special kind of dope to not see that that money would be better spent elsewhere. Honestly, if a ten point deduction is all we would get for breaching PSR, we should've gone for it; we would've clawed those points back by now with a suitably strengthened squad and be in a better league position than we are now, perhaps still in the CL, and almost certainly in the Carabao cup final.

I think we're getting a fake version of Eddie Howe to be honest – he runs everyone to death which gets results upfront – and might get results if he's at a club with 0 cup runs – but when we're trying to get Europe/in Europe and trying to win domestic silverware every season – we can see the real Howe should be using the full depth of the squad or he breaks the first team – basically he needs to sort out his rotations the same way he sorted out his defences.
Not beyond him by any means, but he needs to be rotating the best players at least at 60 minutes in a game if not rested every 3rd game or summat – playing the same 11 satdi, wednesday, satdi, wednesday is absolutely mental. he's the reason wilson is so prone to injury man – there must be an unknown point at which human bodies just can't deal with that much physical stress over such a long period of time and it just starts falling to bits.
he's so much credit for his turnaround I don't get why he didn't do that this season. shoud have played the bottom half teams with Miley and Minteh if need be way before the 1st team started getting cropped. would've dropped points yes but having all the 1st choice players in for European matches and cup semis would've shut any critic up imo. do a west ham and finish 15th but get to a Champions League semi or win the league cup – be hard pressed to sack him. we all know it's the squad quality that's the issue and no one would blame him.
Complete fuck up not recruiting a striker. My view is that with a fit squad, we only need to recruit a top class striker and focus on just that and selling the dead wood, Miggy, Dummett,Ritchie etc.
Isaak should be given next season to prove he can handle the rigours of premier league, there is no doubt about his quality but he needs to be fit to play full games. Callum can then either go if he wants more game time or stay and be third choice.
Season has been a shambles squad wise, Dan needs to take the blame and fuck off, his best contribution will be the compo we get for him!! Hang in their guys, finish 6th and win the FA cup 👍👍. All the best, J.

Hindsight is a bitch, could have cashed in on him in January and got someone else. I'm not going to go on a Wilson rant, if not for his injuries, he'd be one of the most prolific strikers in the league and probably Europe. Don't see many out and out strikers like him anymore. Him and ASM saved us from going down so many times. I do wish him all the best but he has to go in the summer now. Once again, we're back up shit creek. Can we just end the season already? Ffs

Its easy for us fans to say we should sign this player or that player. We are not privy to the internal workings of the club, and therefore we must assume that there's a legitimate reason ( F.F.P)? why we didn't sign a striker!
The transfer dealings since the take over have been very successful, so we must assume that there's plans in the pipeline!
If we do indeed sign a striker in the summer, would it make sense to keep Callum as a third striker? After all there were ( allegedly 🤔) some big teams after him last month, so he must still have something to give?

The club screwed up we should have brought a striker in the window we all knew this was coming! Frankly Ashworth has done fuck all so far. If he wants to go to a shit show like manure then so be it but make the bastards pay!
