      I think England have a depth issue though. I watched back the England vs France game and william Saliba was a sub ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

      The drop off from first 11 to 2nd 11 is quite a lot, therefore if any key players are injured England are in trouble.

      Your 5th reason regarding southgate if europeans cant read stats they're foolish. Southgate has the highest win rate in europe since he took over. I dont feel it is necessary to comment on the 4 other reasons if you follow football its clear you are correct. Kane best number 9 in the world. Bellingham is probably the best player in the world at the moment. Rice is incredible as a DM Trent playmaking skills are unrivalled. My predicition is England will score at least 3 goals every match and play excellent football XG passing accuracy etc. Bring them on!

      England gives me some strong ManCity 22/23 vibes. A complete squad of players with no problematic positions (provided Chilwell and Shaw stay fit), an immeasurable hunger for silverware after 58 years of hurt (sth that France doesn't have being winning things for a while now) and as you said, lack of good opposition. I only see France, Portugal and Germany(because of the host factor) as England's main opponents. But each and every one of them has issues. A lot of the guys that lead France to success have either retired or not playing at the highest level anymore. Mbappรฉ and Griezmann might cause a lot of issues though. Portugal is only a favorite because of their qualifying form and the fact that their squad is filled with talent. But their manager is not very good. if Mourinho somehow becomes the manager for the euros, than everyone should be worried but at the moment not really. Germany is in crisis. This is precisely the situation ManCity were in the last year's champions league with Bayern loosing Lewandowski and Real Madrid being on the brink of transition. ManCity signed Haaland which became their last piece of the puzzle to win the UCL. Bellingham can be the same for the three lions. For me England are number 1 favorites for the euros, especially if Kane and Bellingham will continue on with their solid performances. One of them might actually be the champions league winner when the Euros roll around.

      England has a lot of youth success (won the U-17 and U-20 WC in 2017 along with the U-19 and U-21 Euros more recently) so surely that has to reach the senior team sooner or later.

      Though I find it interesting how you donโ€™t think Portugal is a strong opponent even though you predicted them to beat England for the last WC ๐Ÿ˜…

      You are definitely playing with fire, big man!

      No, Gareth Southgate has not done all he could've done, in those matches against Croatia, Italy and France.

      He failed to put an Outball to try and counter Italy's pressing and to try and get past their ageing Centre-Backs, instead stubbornly persisting on a slower and poorer Mason Mount. Taking off Rice, bringing on two cold players in the 120th minute and a 19 year old Saka, to come and take penalties, whilst declining Grealish's offer to take one!

      Not loading up England's attacking by bringing on Maddison inorder to try and breakdown the stubborn French defence, taking forever to make substitutions and when he did make them… they were the wrong ones. Sterling over and inform Rashford??? Mason Mount over Maddison??? And bringing on Grealish with a few seconds of injury time remaining!

      Dont get me started on leaving an unfit Kane on the pitch when Vardy was still there on the bench, failing to respond to Croatia's changes…

      Some of the fine margins where the result of him not making decisions in these games!!!

      So no, Southgate will continue being tactically poor and resulting in us not winning anything.

      Lets not forget the Nations League relegation too!

      I see so many YouTubers slating Southgate and England and I can't help but feel that it's an open goal for them so far as likes and views go, what with all the haters!

      We'll need the rub of the green at the right moments but, with that little bit of fortune, we can absolutely win this tournament! ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

      Expect a lot of surprises in Euro 2024! England and France as a big favourites doesn't mean they will have a good results in Germany. Recent AFCON and Asian Cup results destroyed the whole predictions. Morocco, Senegal, and Egypt crashed out in AFCON Round of 16, as did Japan and South Korea in the Asian Cup. Those countries were a favourites in their respective continental tournaments. In other words, even with the good squad depth, they can still get underperformed in the major tournaments!

      Great Video but I have to respectfully disagree with you on Gareth Southgate. Yes while England did lose those knock out game due to fine Margins, it was not out of Southgate's control.

      1. World cup semi – final 2018: Southgate did nothing in the Second half of that game to change it. Croatia midfield completely got a hold of that game and we were being overrun. Instead of making a change to wrestle back momentum, he stood there and watched England get run ragged. He only made a change after Croatia scored the their second goal in extra time and by then it was too late.

      2. Euro 2020 final. in the whole 120 minutes we only had 1 shot on target and that was the goal from Luke Shaw. Again when Mancini made tactical changes to give Italy the momentum in the game, Southgate did nothing to combat that. Instead he let the game playout and reach a penalty shootout. A better manager would have not let it get to penalties. We had the much strong bench and we could have bought players on to win it for us either in 90 mins or 120mins. Also we were unlucky on penalties but there is now way Southgate should have allowed 3 young inexperienced players take a penalties. A stronger and more experienced manager would have recognized that.

      3. World Cup 2022. When we scored the equalizer (1 – 1) we had all the momentum. That was the time to bring on a player like Marcus Rashford and go and on to try and win the game. We had France on rope but once again Southgate failed to see this and allowed France to regain the momentum and ultimately win the game. yes we can look at Harry Kane's penalty miss, but again had Southgate made the change at the time, we could have gone 2 or maybe three goals ahead and we wouldn't have needed to really on another penalty.

      Southgate is a great man manager, very good with the media. he has bought a harmony and positivity to the England team which has not been there for a long time. He knows how to set up a team. I'll give him that.

      My biggest gripe with Southgate his lack of in-game tactical management. When the opposite manager makes a change to gain momentum and the game starts getting away from Southgate, he always fails to make a change. He never responds to the oppositions changes quick enough. That's either because

      A. He lacks tactical awareness and unable to make changes until its to late or
      B. He is fully aware that changes need to be made is too afraid to take the risk of going all out for the win. I believe this the most likely answer because we all know he is pragmatic and cautious. He would rather play not to lose then risk it all by going out to win because if he does he knows he has to make the team more attacking which would leave England vulnerable on the counter when trying to go all out and win.

      Sorry for this taking so long but I thought I needed to make my point clear. England have the talent and the players to win this tournament. I still don't have 100% faith in Southgate and his in -game management when the game needs a change.
