Chelsea currently has the youngest squad in the Premier League, with the majority of their signings being under the age of 25? Mauricio Pochettino, manager of Chelsea, believes that Chelsea’s lack of older players may be affecting their performance. Thiago Silva (39), Raheem Sterling (29), Marcus Bettinelli (31), Ben Chilwell (27), Robert Sanchez (26) and Christopher Nkunku (26) are the only players over 25 in his squad. Despite spending over £1 billion on new additions, Chelsea is currently 10th in the league. But Pochettino made it clear that one of the main reasons Chelsea have struggled for consistency is because so many new players have arrived in a short period of time.
